Colorado Pay Transparency Law
Since January 1, 2021, all employers with at least 1 colorado employee in Colorado must provide: salary range and a general description of benefits in every job posting. Also requires internal promotion-opportunity notices (Equal Pay for Equal Work Act).

The posted range tells you the employer's budget โ anchor near its top. Then cross-check against the federal payroll data for your role: if the posting tops out below the market P75, that gap is your documented case for more. Look up your market rate on the salary pages or check if you're underpaid.
